TC16 for ASTM D1796

Main Characteristics
This test method covers the determination of water and sediment in fuel oils
(ASTM D1796) or crude oils (ASTM D4007) by the centrifuge method. The
TC16 is according to the requirements of preheating the cone-shaped centrifuge
tubes in a waterbath for the mentioned ASTM standards. The bath has
place for nine cone-shaped centifuge tubes. The temperature range is from
ambient +5°C to 250°C.
With the leveling platform (P/N 13T8010) the cone-shaped centrifuge tubes
can be immersed in vertical position to the 100-mL mark as strictly indicated
in the ASTM methods. When not used for preheating purposes, the pump can
be used to circulate the bath content to an external application.
